Kokedama Workshop – Sat 14 November
10am till 12 at Stoep Startup, 3 Tiverton Road, PLUMSTEAD.
Come join us on Saturday 14th November for a relaxing morning in the beautiful lush garden, at Stoep Startup, and learn the ancient, green craft of Japanese Kokedama making. Kokedama, meaning ‘moss ball’ are fun and easy to make, once you know the steps. They make beautiful living gifts for your family and friends if you are wanting to give more handmade gifts this year.
You will learn to make a ‘nude’ or mossy covered, ferny kokedama as well as a twine wrapped, succulent kokedama, and will be shown some of the secret tips for soil mediums, mosses, twine wrapping and more. Take home two beautiful kokedamas, dirty hands and a full heart, as well as care instructions for your new kokedama plant babies. A selection of beautiful plants good for kokedama will be available at the workshop.
Sorry no kids under 10. Kids 10 and over to be accompanied by an adult.
